This reusable slide show element has the following features:

• Scaleable: The dimensions are set in the HTML code.
• Settings: The settings are all obtained via an external XML file:
  • The amount of time it takes to face from one image to another.
  • The amount of time the images stay visible.
  • The location for all the images.
  • The location for all the sound files.
• Images: All images are externally stored to easily change them without having to republish the FLA. They will be radomly ordered each time. They will also be resized and centered within the set dimensions if they do not match them exactly.
• Sound: Sound files will play during the slideshow if set in the XML file. These will play in the order they are placed in the XML file.
• Background: Set to transparent so that it will depend on the background color of the web page.
