A live chat element that uses a Flash Media Server. There is an XML file that contains user information so that guest speakers or admins can log in, and their names will show up bold so that others in the chat can distinguish their text over other user's text.

Once in the chat, you are given a log file for all of the chat text that day. This is done in case someone enters late to a scheduled chat and gives them a chance to see what has already been discussed. The chat log for each day is also stored on the server so it can be posted afterwards for everyone to read/review if needed.

When a user is logged in as an admin, there is a "kick" feature so that they may kick out any user.
This was designed specifically for the National Terrorism Preparedness Institute (NTPI) website.
I am in the process of rewriting this in ActionScript 3 so it runs smoother and to incorporate a few new features.
